"The welcome at reception was warm and friendly, with the manager going out of his way to make us welcome. The room was lovely, fresh clean and roomy. "First room offered was unusable as under renovation full of building materials and rubble. Second room given was without any form of heating on a cold January with bedding consisting of sheet and blanket. Totally unacceptable so had to find alternative accommodation at another hotel. Having prepaid we want a full refund. "

"The food and the service in the restaurant was really good. The room was showing signs of incomplete maintenance. The swimming pool was too cold for us, and we did not feel like the area aroung the pool was pleasant. We felt that the first spa receptionist we interacted with was rude and not very helpful to spa newbies."

"An excellent stay. The hotel is a little out of Toledo, which I thought was an advantage. No noise, peace and quiet - perfect. Breakfast was very good, excellent quality. The swimming pool was very pleasant. My room was spacious, clean with a first class terrace. I liked the fresh lemon water in reception - especially as it was very hot. Hotel staff were genuinely cheerful. If I ever return to Toledo this hotel would be my first choice. The only negative. Nothing to do with the hotel. Public transport into Toledo was extremely limited. So a car is essential."
