"It was hard to see while driving up into the parking lot at night during rain ...Could use more outside lighting ! Maybe a Street light as you turn up ...Very Friendly front desk service & Very clean & comfortable beds,.. The complimentary breakfast was very nice also ! Lots to choose from & hot food .."

"Absolutely beautiful place right in the heart of Lunenburg. Everything is within walking distance. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom is exceptional. Smart TV and solid wifi. Staff was wonderful. Little kitchenette was convenient. Small ice bags at the front desk was a nice idea. The only issue is parking. It's first come first serve on the streets. You'll also need to download the parking app to pay for your parking on the street. This was our favorite stay on our two week trip of Nova Scotia."

"We stayed in the honeymoon suite and the king bed was amazingly comfortable. The staff were great and helped me with heavy bags up the steep stairs (be ready for that if you’re old or weak). The adjacent beach across the road was quite with hardly anyone on it (romantic). The down side of the room was 3 things: 1) there were only sheers on the windows so privacy at night was a little off and the room was too bright in the morning. 2) the shower stall was ridiculously small - about 24” x 30” so the curtain stuck to my side and the shower head was an old ‘water saver’ head and hardly sprayed much water. 3) the bathroom fan was noisy and requires replacing. The chandelier above the jacuzzi tub made us laugh as we banged our heads on it standing up. Oh and #4 if the owners are reading… replace the window screens! The ocean view is no good blurred by ancient window screens. A nice stay but not worth the money -especially for newlyweds and because I need a nice shower!!"

"This property is a gem. The location between Halifax and the tourist regions of Mahone Bay and Lunenburg is ideal yet a quiet place to go back to after a day seeing the sites. The century old Inn is charming and situated right on the bay, providing spectacular sunsets views. And the Inn's small touches of decor and thoughtful amenities were greatly appreciated. A highlight was a delicious dinner on the deck at then end of a busy day, then an easy move up the stairs for the night. Christine, the owner, could not have been more lovely or accommodating, as were the long-time restaurant staff."
