Starting off the very positive experience, the staff was welcoming and really helpful. I had gotten lost walking from the train station, so I was a bit frazzled when I arrived very late. But Walid at check-in was great. Thank you! The room was great. I was happy to have a fridge and a great shower. Breakfast was really tasty! The olives were so delicious! Overall, 5 stars!!!

Unfortunately, this property did not meet my expectations of a five-star hotel. The downtown location is convenient, but the noise may be an issue if you prefer a quieter stay. The property felt dated, and the staff rarely smiled or made us feel welcome. The service also lacked the professionalism and experience I would expect from a five-star hotel. On a positive note, the breakfast was good. Although the selection was limited, the pastries and hot dishes were delicious. The private tour guide arranged through the hotel was also pleasant, and having that service available was convenient. I wish I could give a higher rating, but my review needs to reflect our experience. With updates to the property and improvements in staff training, professionalism, and hospitality, this hotel could offer a much better stay.

"The place is close to the train station and has a great rooftop bar. After that not much to praise about this place. They had a major issue with the power and I didn’t have power for a full day at this property. It was so bad that I ended up changing hotels. When I asked for something to compensate ..."
