"We had a nice large room with a bathtub which was quite nice. Geo large beds as well. However the cold water faucet did not work in our bathroom. The bathroom door also did not close and latch. The door was pretty beaten up at the bottom as well. Just needs some maintenance. I wanted to use the pool but the blaring music in the gym was a turn off for me doing that. The breakfast was ok. They said here were hot food options to get made to order but no one who waited on us even offered or told us about it. Bar restaurant food was ok."

"The staff was very friendly. They went above and beyond for our stay. My kids had special gifts left just for them on their beds along with magical notes from fairies. You'll have to make a reservation for a restaurant to be able to go into the castle. Be sure to do this as the experience is well worth it!! Also, highly recommend the School of Falconry Hawk Walk. It was my 8yo's favorite thing we did in Ireland."

"Very nice stay at Knockranny House, the Grande Deluxe Room Room we booked was huge, quiet and very comfortable. Great location, only a short walk from Westport town and gorgeous views over the town and Croagh Patrick. Lovely pool and sauna/ steam room to use during the stay"
