The rooms were pretty dirty and not well maintained. The bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was great. You get what you pay for. Would probably stay again but definitely not a super nice hotel.

Staff was amazing located in a quiet area there were a few small things like the bathroom and sliding doors were hard to open and close but nothing major would definitely stay again if we come back down

Our keys would not unlock the outside door and the desk employee tried fixing them with no luck so we had to move all of our things to another room 2 doors down. The plastic thing that holds the coffee pod was the wrong size for the coffee maker but the morning staff gave us the correct size. The beds were very comfortable and noise level was great. We liked the view of the water from the second floor room 214. Even though we had the problems, the staff was very helpful solving the problems. We would stay there again.

The staff was friendly. The room was clean. We liked that there were 2 chairs to sit in, refrigerator was nice and cold and it was quiet on the 3rd floor. The TV didn’t work but staff helped us move to the room next to us when they couldn’t fix the one in our original room. We will book it again.

This is my preferred hotel when travelling to the Louisville area. You will not find a better hotel in this price range. Also it is just 5-10 minutes across the bridge to downtown Louisville. Clean, nice rooms, quiet and safe.

The only complaint is they have radisson amenities listed for Derby Hotel. They do not offer any breakfast or snack of any kind like it said they do. They throw a fit about the pool between the two hotels even though online it says indoor pool the derby hotel pool is outside. The only other issue is u must wear socks or shoes at all times the carpet does not look dirty but a few walks across the floor bare footed and the bottom of your feet are black black. But all in all not a bad place to stay and rates are not bad and they are pet friendly

We were confused and when we booked online and called everything was going to the radisson, we did not know we had reservations at the derby hotel (big difference) although it’s under change and a bit confusing it was overall a good stay. The kids absolutely loved the pool!

I just needed a clean comfortable room to sleep. The room was perfect. Cold air, nice shower, bed was fine. Enjoyed watching Tv. No other amenities. No breakfast, coffee etc or anyone at the front desk alot of the times. Phones do not work in the room or when you try calling. You have to book online or possibly at the front desk if someone there. Again, the room was surprisingly nice

Do not go to this property! Our room had blood all over it (curtain, wall, ceiling, carpet)! Looked like someone had died or was gravely injured in it!! Facilities are literally falling a part! Staff was friendly and offered another room, but could not and would not trust another room.

Pool is connected to the radisson which is very nice however the derby suites look sketchy and run down. Pictures are very misleading, it reeks of smoke when you walk in. Will not stay there again.
