Great place to be

It's been a very comfortable stay, my service dog is welcome as well staff had been very friendly place is clean, quiet, and safe. It's just like having a little apartment I love it and sleep great with no worries here.

Good for extended stays. I've been here 2x, not an issue. If you are only staying 1 night, there will probably be no ice. Each freezer makes it's own and it takes a few.

Wow, first walking in the place was light bright and airy which I liked cleaned things I did not like was thin walls and I was told the Internet was out for the TV but not sure if I really believe that because I was fine using my tablet. The price was good and that is good because there was no breakfast

Derby Weekend Hotel

Hotel smelled like smoke. Very dated. Bathroom sink and tub were clogged somewhat so they backed up. Hotel staff went knocking on every door to try to find an air fryer that is supposed to be in the hotel. Walls were thin so we could hear the tvs next door. Towels and bedding seemed clean enough. Not too bad for the price but won't stay here again

Overall, we had a good stay. My only concerns were with the cleanliness of some of the furniture and the carpeting in our room. The front desk staff was excellent. They were very friendly, courteous and helpful.

Overall the property and the staff was excellent. My only dislike is that there is no respect for people who are not pet friendly. I was annoyed by seeing dog waste on the ground in that parking was extremely offended when exiting one evening that a pet owners had to hold their dogs back with great restraint while they aggressively barked and growled at me walking by. For this reason the facility should use a seperate entrance/exit for pets.

It was good enough for sleeping for the Derby. First floor hallway smelt like pot every day. Rooms are out dated. Pillows! Oh my...1/2 the size of a normal one. Expedia listed breakfast included...they haven't had it since covid. That stunk as we were counting on that. Staff was helpful but some liked the F word not nothing we were around. Not sure we will go back.

Would stay there agai

Friendly, helpful check in. Spacious room, clean and neat with kitchenette. No hair dryer in room and all of them were check out at desk. Bed a little soft but great linens. Quiet. All in all, we would stay there again.

Check in was terrible and very mediocre room. They could not find my Expedia check in and I had to show my receipt. Hair in bathtub and creaky bed. The area around the hotel is great so the location is the only plus.

Our room was newly-renovated, which was great but there was a lot of construction on other rooms, so a bit of noise one night. However, staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were very comfortable and convenient location. The kitchenette was really nice. Limited toiletries in the room compared to other hotels.

The location of the property is a perfect distance from the city. It is right off 64 and has the ability to get to any of the attractions. My only petpeive is the fact that the handicapped room has no way for a person in a wheelchair to use the shower. The installation of a floor drain would be a big improvement.
