The location was close to the interstate and reasonably easy to find. We did not get there until almost 10 PM and the lighting in the area was not very good so we almost missed the side road to the hotel however, the lighting in the parking lot was very good, so that made it easy after we turned on the small side road to the hotel. The room was clean and appears to have been recently painted. The room was small, but the bed was comfortable. We were in town for an event at the Exhibition Center, so we had to leave by 8 AM both mornings and did not get to the room until almost 10 PM each night, so room size and amenities were not important as long as it was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Clean, comfortable but, alas, not hospitable.

Desk clerk asked if we wanted TV because some rooms have defective TV’s; we didn’t need a TV. Then, unlike all other motels we’ve stayed with, this motel required a $50 deposit in addition to the nightly fare; I felt like an untrusted, suspicious character. No breakfast or morning snacks; they had coffee, but we don’t drink coffee. The room was clean and comfortable, but I felt the atmosphere was not hospitable.
