"The rooms are clean but in need of maintenance. Air conditioning didn't work so a little bit uncomfortable over night. Breakfast, at the Ibis, was not as good as we have had at other economy hotels in Europe and was more expensive.
However the restaurant attached was very useful after a long trip and the food was good"
"Large free parking. Two restaurants across the street (we ate at the steakhouse and it was good). Clean, nice rooms. Very good breakfast. Hotel's lift is a litte odd (located outside main corridor in stairwell near stairs). Would stay again."
"Lovely room with a very comfortable bed, bathroom was nice, breakfast was great, 10 mins walk to a bar, and 5 minutes more to chez sulli for the most amazing pizzas...... A great choice as a halfway stop to Italy 😁😁😁"
"Lovely clean rooms ,staff very helpful parking easy plenty of space.
I didn't have the breakfast so can't comment on the amenities.
We always stay here. "
"Our check in could be described as perfunctory boarding on the brusque . Upon arrival and pressing the bell we waited a few minutes and someone came along. Didn’t introduce himself or even say “ Welcome etc”, just “what is your name, then your room number is, handed over keys and asked about breakfast. We weren’t even told about the residents lounge ( which we discovered the next morning - a bit too late by then).
Rooms were moderately clean, with a couple of spiders and cobwebs in the ceiling corners and in the separate loo. One chair was stained. The bed was softer than expected but that’s down to personal choice.
The property was chosen due to its location ( just a few km from motorway), but also for the peace and quiet. Alas, we were disturbed at 1am for about 20 minutes due to noisy restaurant visitors leaving the car park, without any consideration for guests. You can guess - the usual, noisy goodbyes, shouting across the car park and lots of giggling, no doubt after several glasses of wine. Unfortunately my poor French wasn’t good enough to explain the disturbance to the waitress at breakfast. So when you book, make sure to ask for a room facing the car park.
Breakfast was the redeeming element as there was a cooked element including sausages, scrambled eggs and bacon.
When we checked out there was no enquiry as to ‘did you enjoy your stay’ etc."
