Lovinac Holiday Rentals

"It's a beautiful place but nowhere was it advertised that if you go during shoulder season (we went at beginning of May), they have very limited staff so several amenities are unavailable (e.g. spa, beach rentals, large restaurant, etc.). Also, the hours, food and drink options for the restaurant by the water were very limited. As a result, we didn't get the full experience we paid for. The villa and pool were very clean and had nice outdoor space and furniture (with the exception of only 2 curtains and limited privacy - see below). The kitchen only had one garbage bag and 1 hand towel for an 8 night stay, but was otherwise well-equipped. Hair dryer was very small, weak and attached to the wall, so if you have long & thick hair, bring your own. The villa could sleep 6 people but the water heater is small so showers have to be quick. Not possible for it to handle 6 people. The pool was very clean as well. In the photos, it shows the villa has 6 outdoor curtains. When we arrived, it only had 2. We asked for another to get more privacy and they told us they only have 2. So we then asked to have one of the curtains moved to another section. They sent someone to the villa but he said he didn't have the right tools and would return the next morning. He never returned. Perhaps this place is awesome during peak season, but we were a bit disappointed that we didn't have full amenities during our stay. "

"Hotel was clean and organized. Would recommend purchasing breakfast when booking. Breakfast was great. Bacon, sausage, eggs, etc. The restaurant is private from the hotel but they work well together. We met Ivan at the bus station and he became our taxi driver when needed. 15 eu from bus stop to hotel for 4 people with 2 large and 4 small suitcases. His number was +385 98 9403 044. The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk to old town."

"Lovely hotel with very nice pool area. The room we had was very comfortable with a balcony overlooking the pool. All the staff were super friendly. Plenty of decent sized parking spaces. Breakfast was superb. Great location only a short walk to the nearest beach. It’s a distance from the old town, however, walking the most direct route took about 45 minutes, or less than an hour via the scenic sea front."

"Everything was quite. Just a waren up at 2.30 missed and on asking why, I was told that the receptionist rang the room number. But no sound was heard and anyway, one should wait until the person answers. Or go to the room. Also last minute on leaving I was told to pay the local tax, which one could have done on arrival or when visiting the reception. The prebooked lunchpaket was forgotten to be handed over early morning. Everything else was excellent."

"Microwave did not work in cabin. Housekeeping took all dirty towels on 3rd day as we were told but when we returned late that evening we found they only gave us several new towels & it was not enough for the 5 of us in reservation yo shower. Went to front desk to get towels & was told he could not get them to us til the following day. SUPER over priced to wash & dry laundry in tiny washer/dryers. "

"One of our new favorite hotels in the whole world: Very clean, comfortable, great bed, quiet & located in the heart of old town -- easy walking to everywhere. Parking was right there and secure. Staff, including Marino, were genuinely helpful. Fabulous pastries, snacks and breakfast. We wish all hotels we stayed out were this wonderful, and we are kind of picky. A very good value for the money, too. "

"This was a very well run hotel with an amazing kids club with lots of children to do throughout the day. Going over Easter weekend we were particularly lucky with the activities as well including a mini petting zoo. The indoor pool was heated and was also extended outdoors, which was great for a swim in early season. The All Inclusive package was great, with plenty of variety of drinks and choice at the buffet, and all the food was delicious. The family rooms were also very spacious."
