"I had a few rooms booked as part of a wedding party. I was in 2 of the rooms to accommodate the children at night. One bed very comfy tho a bit soft for my liking....the other bed was so uncomfortable and creaked if we moved at all in it so quite a restless night. All rooms were very clean. Breakfast staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant. Good selection for breakfast including a gluten free section too. We did not available of any other food. Emmett did my checking in and changing names on each room and was so professional. I was treated well by another receptionist (I cant remember her name) further into my stay but while waiting for her to check out something for me, the other receptionist was extremely rude when answering the phone and quiet abrupt to people at the desk which certainly was not a good impression. Bar area was tidy with plenty staff whenever we used it. The only complaint we had was on one side of the building the view was of a multi storey car park and a cement wall which was very disappointing for the price. Only we had an itinerary to follow I would have asked for a refund/room change as it was very unacceptable"

"Great location, pleasant staff, good good in restaurant. Staff sorted out a Black Cab tour for us even at a late hour. Their off site parking could use better signage for pedestrian access and exit. It is not owned by the hotel however they could better facilitate access."

"My wife and her friend stayed for 3 days. The property was dated and rooms were basic but clean. However the biggest let down was the staff, there was no one to check them in on arrival. They did not have any breakfast items as by the time ( and they were within the allocated times) most of things had run out. the staff were extremely rude did not want to refill , eventually my wife had to go get someone from reception to sort some breakfast. Also one of the days the house keeping entered their room, while they were in and did not wait for them to open the door. he then went to say " if you need anything now is the time to ask otherwise we will not be able to help" extremely disappointed in the experience and we wil not be staying there again. The positive is the location but the attitude and number of staff need to improve to make a difference !"
