"Regarding cleanliness, in general the cottage was very clean (i.e. kitchen, bedrooms, baths spotless), however there was a pet odor that pervaded the place. It led us to avoid the sitting room area and we booked other stays this trip at venues that did not permit pets. Regarding service - instructions were e-mailed regarding the cottage heating being on a timer, however, during two of the evenings of our stay the heat did not kick on.
