"Great staff. Coffee machine in room was defective. Curtains dirty and faulty closing. Everything else clean and convenient."

"The staff welcomed us and allowed us to check in early as the room was already cleaned and ready for occupancy. The room was clean, including the bathroom and kitchenette area. We wanted to go kayaking and there was no charge to use the kayaks, paddles, and life preservers. They also had paddle boards available. There was plenty of parking. The swimming pool was also clean and available to use. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you!!"

We were expecting a regular big hotel on the beach kind of stay, but The Islander offers bungalow-style accommodations with private lanai/patios for every room! It made the place feel so much more chill. The grounds were beautiful with abundant landscaping, palm trees, and tons of seating options to lounge on and off the beach. "
