"The room was clean and freshly renovated. Bathroom was very nicely done. Nice strong shower. Mattress was okay, could use a topper. The room is not quite finished. There is no TV or refrigerator . Building is still under renovation. Lobby looks rough. It hasn't been renovated yet . Nice little deck out back with a small BBQ for customer use."

"The Nimpkish Hotel (I stayed in room 3 which has a lovely deck overlooking the water and is on the side of the hotel fully facing the sea) is a lovely oasis in Alert Bay - highly recommend it for a clean, comfortable, conveniently located place to relax, walk around the little town, and get a meal at the hotel restaurant (my halibut and chips was fresh and great) - or you can walk across the road to the Orca Inn for a fine dining experience - both were great."
