"This hotel had a nostalgic charm and pleasantly dated vibes but was nonetheless very tidy and convenient. Ideal location for pedestrian travel. Pool, gym, and restaurant available."
"We enjoyed our stay. Everything was so clean and staff would bend over backward to accommodate your needs. The breakfast was delicious. Coffee was a 10 out of10. So good. And extra pillows already in the room. "
"100% recommend! Great place to stay while travelling through Nova Scotia. Clean, cute room, stayed in the Leeward room. Dinner was really good! Quiet area...really enjoyed our stay!"
"The Mermaide staff was kind and helpful. Love your idea of making simple breakfasts, made to order. Thank you! The doe and her fawns, wildlife on the side yard was enjoyable this morning. Nice large rooms, comfy beds, clean. Easy access to The CAT Ferry! We will be back."
"Kim is the most welcoming, friendly hostess you could ever wish to meet. Her cute little dog Zoe is the best.
Thank you Kim for allowing us to share your beautiful home."
"We stayed an extra night due to the car ferry cancelling our return trip back to Maine. I booked the extra night through hotels.com but could only get a room with a queen size bed. We were in a room with two double beds. We needed two beds due to my upcoming hip replacement surgery. The staff member went above and beyond to make sure we could stay in the room we were already in. Top notch service!!!"
