"It's a student halls of residence. If that's what you're expecting I would imagine you'd be very happy with the room. If you're expecting a hotel, it's not a hotel. It was exactly as I was expecting. Comfortable, no frills, perfectly fine for a one night stay for me. Wifi was great. A little bit of noise at times, it's student accommodation, but not too noisy by a long way. I recently stayed at the IBIS in Bristol and that was far noisier. Would happily book again for a short stay."

"The apartment is very nice (if a little run-down and stained) and well-located for the university. "We loved our stay at the Clayton! The staff was friendly and accommodating and the room was clean and well managed. The hotel is within walking distance to many different areas of Bristol- we had a rental car but did not use it much as we were able to walk. There is no on premise parking, but there is a nearby parking garage that is recommended by the Clayton staff. If used, they will provide you with a voucher that greatly reduces the cost!"
