West Texas Roundup

The hotel is definitely dated and for the money you pay for a room you would think it would be a little better…the bed was comfortable and the air conditioner was great…the tv had 60 channels according to the guide, but you only watch 4 local channels…I definitely do not recommend the I-Hop out front, my night was spent battling a bout of food poisoning so restful sleep was not in the cards..I planned on leaving early early that morning but didn’t happen because of the earlier..

What’s that smell.

There was a STRONG chemical smell feom cleaning I thought, it was suffocating. We got in the bed and the discovered it was the sheets that carried the very strong smell. I slept with one of my shirts over mouth mouth and nose. Rough night. Staff really nice.

No cold water in bathroom shower when we checked in late in the evening...only very hot water was coming out of the bath'tub faucet. This prevented my wife and I from having a shower after checking in that night. Taking a shower would have resulted in serious bodily harm from scalding since the water was so hot. Front desk staff indicated she could not move us to a new room, because there was no empty room available.....very unacceptable. Hotel staff should have ascertained that all the room being given out were suitable for guests comfort.
