Redclyffe Shore Motor Inn

Redclyffe Shore Motor Inn

8/10 Good
"Wonderful stay at this locally run motel. Its older but well kept. View from room was stunning, bed comfortable & the use of a fan a nice touch. Other than no bโ€™fast offered, the only complaint is the tv reception is awful. Roku kept cutting in & out. Would suggest trying starlink. If staying here, do NOT plan to watch a fav program in itโ€™s entirety."

Bear Mountain Lodge

Bear Mountain Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"Don't miss this place. You take a dirt road into the forest but well worth it when you get there(make sure to arrive before dark). The Lodge is beautiful and the hosts Josh and his wife Vianca are fantastic. There isn't a restaurant on site but bring you own groceries there are 2 fabulous kitchens for you to use, plus a BBQ grill. There is exercise equipment, a pool table and a hot tub, and many other things for you or the kids to use. If you rent the Moose room you even have a hot tub in your room-it was great. This is a great place for a romantic get away, plenty for kids to do, or for a wedding and reception(rent the whole place). All spaces super clean. Access to the lake with all the water toys you might need, ATV and snowmobile trails. Wished I had booked more than 1 night, if we are back in the area again will definitely stay a while. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Jim And Sarah Anderson -Kyle, Texas"

Machias River Inn

Machias River Inn

10/10 Excellent
"The Machias River Inn being my first time being there, and living in the state of Maine it was 10/10. The cleanest room that you can tell was cleaned properly (Iโ€™ve stayed elsewhere in the state and can tell when housekeeping leaves behind trash visible in plain sight it wasnโ€™t cleaned or swept). Helenโ€™s restaurant has the best pie and itโ€™s right on the property. The waterfront views were remarkable! We watched seals every morning. Also not to take away from guides but honestly if you go to any beach nearby youโ€™re going to see Seals and puffins if you donโ€™t want to pay the cost of a boat tour!"
