Poor experience
The Check in was a bit confusing that you have to go to another building, and we chose a room with sofa bed specifically because we have a kid, but there was no bed lining for the sofa bed, so we had to call the reception to get it fixed. We stayed for two nights though they didn’t clean our room or empty the trash or exchange our towels at all even we did follow the instructions to throw them on the floor. We tried to call reception again to get some new towels, though give up after couldn’t reach them after couple of calls. Also in general we probably got the worst room, ground floor, right next to the smoking area and the big road, and the weather was so hot we had to leave the window open.

Good hotel to stop overnight for business. The room was clean and had everything I needed. Shower was great, bed comfy I was driving a large van so it was very useful that I could park easily

Top choice if you need to sleep over
Nice hotel, great value for the money. If you need a place to spend the nigh and do not need a restaurant or other services, this place will be the best choice. Clean, renovated and nice rooms with lovely and cool bathroom, big screen tv and good beds.

Simple, modern, but very compact, off-city-centre
Modern, clean and adequately equipped, but very compact room. My room was facing the back of the building so it was rather quiet. Check-in takes place in nearby Vier jahreszeiten hotel, less than a minute away. Location is quite off-centre, perhaps 15+min walk from the train station, but two local bus stops are nearby if needed. Overall, the accommodation standard was absolutely sufficient for me - if you don't mind the location, this is a much more reasonably priced option compared to hotels in the centre.

2 weeks ago I stayed in a Soviet-era hotel that hadn’t been done up since it was built in the 70’s. Think this place was worse 😂 No staff anywhere at all, you have to visit the neighbouring hotel if you need a member of staff which is appalling considering there’s no desk, my room was incredibly humid and hot and smelt like someone had smoked in there and a pretty poor job had been done to clean up! Coupled with the fact Expedia said this was a 20 min walk from the station (nope - 40 and I’m a fast walker) this was an almighty nope. Didn’t stay here in the end, the hotel next door sorted me out. Considering other, better kitted out hotels were available for €5 more, there’s really no excuse to have no staff around.

We went for the football at VfB Lubecks ground and the hotel was situated about 500 yards from it. Its a bit of walk from the town centre, 20 minutes but is also situated well for food outlets in need.

The room itself was spacious and very clean. Good hotel for business trip or town visit, if you just want to sleep there. The hotel has only self checking and no coffee shop or lounger staff on site - just bedrooms. Is located in an off town shopping quarter - but within 15 minute walking to city center. Parking available as part of partner hotel but not good information to get to know.

The checkin automat was not working and we have to walk to another hotel for check in. And the transportation going to the centrum is not frequent. Other than that the room is clean and spacious, we had a pleasant stay.

Meh. There’s probably better in the area.
You definitely get what you pay for with this place. The rooms are big and it’s clean but it’s not central to anything and it’s on an insanely loud and busy street. There’s no central air so we had to keep the windows open and it was hard to sleep. The pillows are weirdly lumpy as well. Also no one works here. It’s an automated checkin which might be fine for some, but felt offputting and unsafe to me. Oh and that beautiful view they advertise? I was on the top floor and could only see the tips of the pretty buildings in the distance. Other than that it’s very strip-mall feeling.

Within walking distance of the charming old city, this hotel is excellent value. Self-check-in worked beautifully, we'd never done that before and were skeptical as there had been a previous reviewer who had had issues. The room was spotlessly clean, wonderful shower and bathroom, everything new and updated, comfortable beds, nice linens. Everything just super.

Unstaffed, automated hotel on town outskirts
Just visiting for a couple of nights and Lubeck was full so ended up here as just about the only cheap alternative. Pros:- clean, basic service. 10 minutes walk to congress centre where annual festival is held Cons:- Very small room 20 minute walk to town, no local attraction or restaurant (apart from the main hotel of which this is a satellite) mosquitos mean that had to keep window closed (no nets) and no other ventilation

Its an amazing property with facility for kiosk check-in even at the middle of the night. Clean, comfortable (except some noise due to traffic on nearby road), and good value for money for budget travels. Even the rooms at basement are well-lit with natural light at daytime and have good ventilation.

Affordable modern hotel not too far from town
Pleasant hotel on a main road at the edge of town. It takes about 15 min to walk to the city centre. Automatic check in with no reception but the main hotel is 2 min away if there are problems. Email worked well at night but would not let me log on in the morning. The receptionist could not fix this and implied it was a common problem that the computer only recognises the arrival day. However, the other hotel has good wifi and an excellent breakfast for only 6 euro so not too serious unless you had a lot of work to do

Cheap, clean, everything we needed.
This hotel does not have a reception but rather you check in on a computer. When we tried to check in the system said our room was only for one person, however it was supposed to be for three. We went to the hotel reception next door and this was cleared up. The room was clean Andrew a day very thing we need end, especially considering the price! The only real problem (minor) was that the bedding for the sofa bed did not have any covers on it and because there are no staff in the hotel we had to make do without.

Nice but inconvenient
Was shocked that the room was in the basement and was shocked how nice the room was. Checking in was on the screen but you can go to the hotel across the construction site to ask for help. There is no phone in the room to connect you to any service. I used Skype to call the front desk. Because of those inconveniences, maybe a hotel near the station would save a lot of trouble.

This is a self check-in hotel. Unfortunately their system tried to bill me for my prepaid room. There is not even a phone to use for assistance. I had to walk to the hotel next door to speak with a person. Then there were no instructions on Internet use in the rooms so I had to walk back there again since there are no phones in rooms either. I had to walk back a third time to arrange a taxi. Rooms are tiny, basic but clean and comfortable.

Motel - exactly what it is
Stayed in the motel. It is exactly what it's supposed to be, a basic place to stay, which is great of your not planning on spending time in your room. Rooms are kept clean, the bed was comfy and the bathroom and shower were nice. Only downside is that there's no kettle in the room but I guess I should have checked that first.

Die Lage ist natürlich nicht die allerschönste mit dem Blick auf den Baumarkt, aaaaaaber die Aussicht auf die Skyline und die gute Verkehrsanbindung entschädigt dafür zusammen mit diesen supersauberen, hellen Zimmern ungemein! Habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und kann mir gut vorstellen wiederzukommen. Der Service (nicht der Automat am Eingang, aber das Personal des IV Jahreszeiten) ist wirklich topshop bei Rückfragen und superschnell. Dafür und noch viel mehr - lieben Dank!!!

Nette schone kamer, helaas langs een zeer drukke weg. Daardoor niet mogelijk om raam te openen. De kamer was erg warm, omdat we niet konden ventileren bleef dit ook zo.
