The verdant interior courtyard where breakfast is served under the shade of a pomegranate tree is a quiet sanctuary where one could easily while away hours. The rooms are beguilingly, impeccably clean, the hosts are delightful; and you’d do well to heed their restaurant and gelato recommendations. There’s robust wifi in the rooms, but if not for that, you’d not be mistaken for falling under the delusion that you’d entered another era the moment you step through the doors of this enchanting property."

In fact, when our train was delayed significantly, they were extremely helpful and kind to ensure that we still had a stress-free check in and access to our room. For that, we are very thankful. . "Staff were really helpful especially Pio from the breakfast area. The property was under renovation during the time that we were there so there’s some hint of construction dust when we checked in our room. Housekeeping was helpful in making it go away. The rooms were really nice and comfortable. It’s very modern and the washroom was squeaky clean. 10 min walk from Padre Pio Shrine. Access to it is right across the hotel. Highly recommended"

"While the evening staff was very welcoming and the room large, everything else in this hotel was extremely disappointing. The shower was tiny and the water flow was hardly a drizzle. The room was basic and the furniture - old. Breakfast was basic compared to standard Italian hotels, and most tables in the restaurant were filthy with leftovers and crumbs from previous guests. I definitely do not recommend this place. "
