This was our 2nd time staying here and it was outstanding both times! The rooms are beautiful, everything is spotless, the bedding, pillows and mattress are extremely comfortable. The property is peaceful and each room has a lovely view of the river. We would highly recommend to anyone!

Absolutely wonderful property and hosts

The property itself is beautiful, the rooms are clean and spacious, the caretakers were more than accommodating and extremely flexible. I would highly recommend staying here whether you’re in the area fishing, hunting, or just relaxing. Wonderful people, very helpful and pleasant. The property has good amenities and an amazing river front view. I will definitely be coming back!

This is an amazing Inn. The room was very comfortable and clean, the view was second to none and the staff was beyond amazing! I can’t say enough about this place. I wish I had longer to stay.

Was satisfied with the stay. Owners are very friendly. Location is off the highway and right next to the river. They have a pavilion and bbq with gas and charcoal. They have chairs and stocked fire pits outside. Trails leading to the river. Very beautiful nights because the stars are bright and sound of the river is relaxing. I enjoyed my time there

Great getaway

The Steelhead Lodge is great and is right on the banks of the Salmon River. Although the property is rural with no city amenities, there is a kitchen with snacks, coffee and tea which is open 24/7. This area also has a dining table, many books, and magazines providing insight to the local history. This would be a great place for a family reunion, with many recreational opportunities immediately surrounding and within the property.

Jeff and Barb are great hosts - friendly, accessible, and the Steelhead Lodge is a great location! We enjoyed the room and the 24/7 common area. The sights and sounds on the river were fabulous! Lots of game to watch and places to just chill by the water. Loved it and plan to be back in a couple months!

Wonderful independent owner/ operators, on site 24/7. Spotless clean. Large "community kitchen" and Outdoor grill for those who want to cook their own meals. All rooms have a beautiful river view. Easy drive to rafting companies. We would stay here again.

The best place in Riggons/Lucile you can stay at

After we checked in and saw how detail oriented the room was and so cute we were so sad we only had 1 night there. In every category they exceed expectations! Margaret and Jeff were so helpful! We'll definitely be back

This exceeded our expectations so much. I cannot speak highly enough about the rooms and the quaint size of the lodge and the lovely couple manage the property. Amazing situation on the Salmon River. A well equipped, shared kitchen and library and sitting outside. We will be back. So happy we found this place.

Steelhead in July

Awesome property. Jeff was a terrific property host. Gorgeous views. I would stay here again. There are bugs, water on the bathroom floor, and the air conditioning struggles to keep up when temperatures are in the 90s, but these are all understandable for a lodge experience.

Super cute inn. Big rooms, cute decor and dog friendly. We used the fully stocked kitchen to make breakfast and loved sitting in the gazebo over looking the river. Bed were comfortable! The only think I would add is conditioner and maybe more pillows on the bed. There is a keurig in the room and large coffee pot maker in the kitchen. It was close to jer boat tours. We will stay here again.
