Was happy with my recent stay here. Check in was easy and the owners were very nice. This is an older motel, but the room was large and we were comfortable here. They do have a nice pool (outside) for guests. Location in this small town was good and it was quiet here.

Friendly, comfortable and pleasant . Great location. Love the outdoor seating area and benches outside the rooms. Great for families and a quiet getaway.

Quaint and Clean - Michigan Americana

This is a great place to stay for a stop along a Michigan family road trip! The establishment is not new if that's what you are looking for, but is very well-cared for and very clean! I felt comfortable staying there during the Covid-19 virus even. We did not have time to use the pool but it looked nice and clean as well. This quaint motel had some charm in some of it's details, too. And the couple that own it were very nice!

**Owner told me they had just sold the place to new owners so things may change soon!** Our room was definitely dated but could not be more clean! My only complaint is that they must spray an overwhelming air freshener in the rooms when they clean. My guess is that the rooms used to allow smoking but don’t anymore and they are trying to cover the smell. We opened the windows for about 15 minutes when we got there and it dissipated fairly quickly. Like with most motels, Bella Vista Inn isn’t very fancy, but I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a simple and clean place to sleep.

Nice little place

Bella Vista was exactly what we were looking for. Its not fancy but very clean. The location was great. nice view of bear lake across the street. 5-10 mins away from the bluffs and Arcadia south. Would definitely stay there again.

I like that there is a view of the lake out of my window. Before bed, we walked to a small park and sat on benches and just watched the water. This was nice. The hotel is small and old, but clean and comfortable. It was also quiet. The pool was clean and warm.

Clean. Quiet. Easy check in, check out. We were late arrival, they were very accommodating. Mattress/bed was great. Window Air conditioner was exceptionally loud for my husband’s Tinnitus.

This is a basic motel. It was clean and the pool was nice. The bed was really hard but some people like a firm mattress.

It was a very quaint and charming motel. A bit dated but that’s what made it charming. The pool was excellent and clean. The rooms were clean but it seemed the cleaning person missed a few things such as bath towels, soap, and there was some things left under the bed and behind the nightstand from previous guests. We weren’t upset about this, just thought maybe it was a new cleaning person who needed more training or experience. Overall I would stay here again - it’s a great central location in a cute little town. The owners were very nice as well.
