we had a home emergency and needed to get a room for the night when it was already late. Ventura had an affordable room ready to go. the motel is very much a classic old style motel. there aren't crazy amenities or anything like that but the room was quiet, comfortable and affordable. If you need a fancier place there are plenty of options but if you don't need a bunch of bells and whistles this was great.

Disappointed my 2nd time I stayed there first time was great nice room comfortable bed this time I got a room that was very small looks like used to be a storage area that was converted to a room bed was not comfortable at all the air conditioner was loud was a 3 night stay left day early not what I reserved when I made reservation

The owners of this property are absolutely amazing and understanding. I worked a 24hr shift and drove 4 hrs to Ludington to watch my son play in a basketball tournament. They were very helpful in getting me a room early so i could catch some sleep before game #2 and even though the rooms arent fancy sleep, shower and staff were exactly what we needed. And only a few blocks to walk to beach. Highly recommend
