"The room was clean, the staff were helpful, food was very good, pool and health suite facilities were excellent. Parking can be a bit tight but there is another over flow carpark available. Electric charge point outside the hotel. Area around the hotel is good for some local music and drinks or can walk a mile into the town for full nightlife"

"The host were exceptionally congenial. The location was perfect to downtown Westport. The breakfast is were lovely, cooked to order. The street was quiet and it was easy to sleep. The host were helpful with directions and places to go. Westport is a great town to see everything in Mayo."

"The hotel was lovely and use of the swi.ming pool/ spa was great. The grounds were very well maintained. They had a booking system for breakfast which didn't really allow you to be flexible, but I understand that they probably didn't have enough space / staff if everyone turned up at the same time (hot breakfast was cooked fresh and was delicious)."

We stayed in first class hotels all over the country except for in the North because we have our own place. we can not say enough about Ashford Castle and the staff. From the minute you arrive until your parting goodbye, it was first class all the way. We will definitely be back again, please God, to stay for longer than our first trip."
