"We stayed at apartment 7 for 6 nights and received a warm welcome from the host. She showed us our room, explained a few things and told us where to knock if we needed anything. The apartment was clean and tidy and had a lot of room. We used the sandwich maker that was in the kitchen to make our breakfast every morning and walked about 5 minutes to the beach. "Big thick ancient stone walled building, wooden floors & ceilings, historic decor, huge character & comfort. Staff were delightful & most helpful. You are right within the old town walls & minutes from everything. This accommodation leaps you back in time. We had the 3 bedroom apartment with kitchen & laundry facilities & were very comfortable & loved our lodgings. The only thing with ancient, the sewer smell they were working hard to repair at the time of our stay. The apartment also advertised sound proof rooms, which they are not. If you’re a light sleeper, this is a challenge. We embraced the authenticity of the place, with ringing church bells, echoing ancient street sounds & used white noise & ear plugs. I would stay there again & highly recommend."
