Lovely quaint and full of character and charm. Clean rooms and functional. Close to all major sites such as Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Sofia Hagia, Grand Bazaar all walking distance , breakfast ok - staff polite and friendly.

What is expected at a Ritz Carlton.
Not necessary the hotel fault, but the Nobu restaurant located there has a weird dress code and they use lime concentrate in their dishes, not natural lime.... that is not good

When we checked in there was no water for the first 2,5 hours, so we were not able to even use the toilet. We arrived late and left early-ish, breakfast was pre-portioned on the tables which was rather disappointing but the room was great, staff were very pleasant and a lovely communal area too
