"The hotel is being renovated, so some parts of the building are temporarily unavailable. Other than that, the hotel is wonderful, and the staff is extremely friendly. The town is beautiful and very peaceful. We would definitely stay here again."
"We had a lovely holiday despite the negatives I'm about to list. If Europarcs implement improvements this could be a lovely park to stay in!
The cleanliness of the property was poor, there were cobwebs everywhere, not just one or two but down behind everything was matted with them, the downstairs toilet was smelly. It seemed like the "broom clean" you're asked to leave it is all that you arrive to. Didn't help that the attachments did not fit the vacuum so i was unable to remedy myself!
The AC was leaking significantly which we reported but was not resolved despite assurance an engineer would be sent. This was particularly inconvenient as it was a very hot week.
There are no doors between ensuite and the room which is a privacy issue ehen using facilities but also the heat/moisture from showering fills the room making it even warmer than it is already.
The facilities looked good, the swimming pool was small but adequate, the sauna however requires a daily deposit of 38 euros and can only be used during reception opening hours of 9-5. It would have been nice to use in the evening, same with the pool.
The restaurant was nice and we enjoyed an evening there.
The shop was poorly stocked and not open the day we arrived. We made use of other supermarkets including Albert Heijn in nearby Marken.
It was a handy location to access lots of places/activities outside of Amsterdam and you could use public transport to access Amsterdam itself. FYI the bus is expensive, train l"
"The staff were really helpful, food was excellent. The waitress Emmy was particularly good. It was quite expensive but good value for that.
It was a good place to stay to then go and visit our relatives in Swifterbant."
"Couldn’t fault the hotel for anything. They were prompt even though I had an after hours check in. Quick to reply to email. Didn’t have breakfast this time but maybe next. I really liked the room too"
"It was a great way to take a break from busy cities. It was so relaxing we ended up adding an additional day to our stay. Don’t miss the opportunity to have dinner here- it was one of our better meals on a two trip through the Netherlands. Breakfast is pretty simple, but good enough to get your day started. "
"The location is excellent, breakfast was wonderful and the safe were very helpful and friendly. We had trouble figuring out the digital key along with were to park and the staff were patient in explaining and showing me. Definitely would stay here again if I get the opportunity."
