A great stay in the heart of the old quarter! Great location in the middle of shops/restaurants and about 10min walk to sites like Hoan Kiem Lake and Train Street. Room and bathroom were clean and perfect size for a solo traveler. Of note, there was no desk just a small coffee table. The window didn't really face the street but was enough to get some sunlight in. Bottled water, bathrobe, and sandals were a nice addition. Breakfast was a nice spread with Vietnamese and continental options. There wasn't a ton of seating so you may have to share a table with other guests. Staff was friendly and accommodating; no issues checking in or out.

Yes the property is a block from the lake, but other than that you are getting a five star experience at a fraction of the cost. The hotel breakfast is also excellent.

"Very nice hotel and friendly staff! Room was comfortable and whole resort area was very nice. Only problem was I had a light that I couldn't control and it would turn on and off all night. Seemed to be a motion sensor light that had broken or gone faulty. I complained and someone came to look at ..."
