The hotel was very dirty, the staff was friendly but not so useful. Booked one type of room but received another one - smaller, darker, dusty and dirty with a small window, after 3 nights they finally did change me the room (the booking was for 7 nights). The other room was better but also not clean, even after they "cleaned" it.

I left my wallet in the room upon check out, I placed it on a table and forgot to grab it after I put on my pants. I took a taxi down town and when I realized I had left it in the room I taxid back to retrieve the lost wallet. The staff told me the wallet filled with money wasn’t in the room and the lady who cleaned the room freaked out when she was asked if she came across it.

Looks could be a bit deceiving !
It’s a good hotel but the sauna and swimming pool is at an extra charge & it’s very complicated getting into it. We had to chrck with the property several times to use it, and eventually gave up! Location is okay, if you really want to enjoy lviv, you want to instead stay in the center

The restaurant food was excellent. Staff very attentive with quick service. Close to the railway station and transport into the city centre. Did not use other facilities.

Value for money
Good hotel located in residential area 30mins walk to Old Town or 60-100 Hryvnia by taxi. It’s clean, breakfast is good and service is friendly and helpful. More could be done for breakfast set up. There are only 3 tables set up for breakfast even if there are more guests staying in hotel. If over capacity you are asked to eat in semi lounge. This hotel is advertised as with swimming pool. However they charge 200Hr per hour and you have to book in advance. When booking make sure there is no wedding going on that day.

Nice hotel, good value and nice restaurant.
The staff are really nice and the hotel is reasonably clean and well equipped. The restaurant is great too. Fantastic chef and other staff. To get 5 stars, they would need to: stop asking for the breakfast order the night before, make sure there are safes in the rooms, fix some of the plug sockets, some minor improvements with housekeeping of the rooms. That being said, overall it was a great stay and good value.

Nice hotel. Great reception staff. Rooms are a bit dated but comfortable. Shower was lovely. Breakfast could be better. Local area is nothing to write home about. Reception very helpful with getting you a taxi and they come quickly.

Not 5 Star but good value for money
This hotel is a reasonable choice, certainly value for money. However, it is not 5 star. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the city center, with very little to see in the immediate area. The hotel is clean and well kept, although our room was not cleaned properly on our last day, when our bed was not made. Although rooms have a mini bar and complimentary water, there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. There is a mini safe in the room, but as it is just sitting in a cupboard and not screwed into the wall, we did not feel the safe was very safe. There is a TV in the room but no international (English speaking) channels. We only ate breakfast at the hotel, although there is a restaurant/bar on site. On 3 of our 4 days, we had to select and order the breakfast we required the previous evening. On the 4th day, there was a buffet breakfast. Selections were adequate but not up to European standards. Staff were generally friendly, particularly the waiter at breakfast, although not all staff had a good understanding of English. Lviv is worth a tourist visit, particularly if you are interested in the history of the city and/or its Jewish History. However, the tourist guide obtained from the airport was basic and I would therefore recommend doing a bit of research before arriving. Food and drink in Lviv is very cheap by European standards Overall we had a good few days in the local area and thought the trip, including the hotel, was very good value for money.

Only problem with this hotel it doesn’t have a lift, so carrying heavy luggage upstairs and downstairs would be difficult. They have a porter however he’s in his mid 60’s and I couldn’t imagine asking him to lift a 25kg bag and take it 5 floors up.

The property is located closer to the train station and bus station than the city center. We took Uber into the city center each day for around $2 USD. It is in a very quiet and residential neighborhood. The suite was very large and clean. Breakfast is included. No additional fees were charged by the hotel, just the payment here on Expedia. It was a very comfortable stay!

Had a little difficulty checking in as previous guest did not want to leave the room. My room was spacious. Shower was a little small so be careful when using so that you don't bang into anything. The hotel was great. The location is a little further from the city square so taxis are generally needed unless you like taking some time to walk.

Excellent Hotel
Stayed for 2 nights on the way to Kiev for the Champions league final. Absolutely delightful hotel. Had 2 different rooms and both were excellent. Breakfast was superb with eggs ,bacon and sausage amongst the fayre.. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone and I thank all of the staff for my wonderful stay

In general the hotel is very good. Some things (below) the managment should improve. Breakfast are very poor. It is only one coffee or one tea for breakfast. On te second and third breakfast we had to ask about it because a waiter hadn't has oferred.

We arrived very late to the Kupava hotel after a long day of traveling so all we wanted was a fast check-in and a comfy bed. And that is exactly what we got. The girl at reception was friendly, efficient, and spoke good English. We also booked breakfast to be delivered to our room then next morning (an excellent free service they offer) it turned up on the dot at 10am and was bought by another friendly competent member of staff. The food was good and nicely presented. The room we got was nice and big and everything worked as it should. The only downside to some would be the fact the hotel is not in the center it is however handy for the train station (5-6 mins by taxi) all in all this hotel was perfect for our needs and offered excellent value I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again

Hotel is not a 5* . Indoor pool not heated, sauna full of cleaners items. Breakfast not every day buffet. Staff friendly. Having dinner at their restaurant great food.

Very Ukrainian and I loved it!
Stayed 4 nights with my girlfriend. Others have said it's very kitsch, but I loved that aspect of it. Restaurant was nice. Room was clean and decent sized. The only con would be the fact that it is not located close to the town center.

An Oasis in a Post-Apocalyptic Dustbowl
The hotel looks really good. The room I was in was nice but part of the bed collapsed. I'm not fat and I wasn't with anyone so it wasn't my fault. The service was really good. The worst thing about this hotel is its location. I walked from downtown, it took over half an hour with my bag, the pollution was worse than the pollution in Bangkok. There was industrial pollution, pollution from the diesel bus exhausts, dust from the ground, and cigarette smoke (average life expectancy for men is about 65 years old, unsurprisingly). I tried taking a tram one time but it didn't go the whole way, I tried another tram, the validator didn't work, the tram driver didn't communicate, and the doors were stuck. The buses are more packed than any mode of transport I've been on anywhere in the world. The taxi drivers have a reputation for being corrupt. If Lviv sorts its transport system out I would recommend this hotel in the future. For now just stay in downtown.

Podana informacja że hotel ma 5 gwiazdek , a Nie ma żadnej . Obsługa bardzo miła, wymieniali codziennie ręczniki jednak noc więcej . Mam wrażenie jakby pościel była niewymieniona a tylko ułożona po poprzednikach . Jedzenie cały czas to samo na śniadanie , było niestety mocno przeciętne . Pokój duży ładny , choć mogli by od czasu do czasu uprać firanki bo były aż żółte od tego kurzu. Ogólnie Daje 6,5/10
