"Great place on the Cornwall/Devon border, equidistant from the stuff you can do in the Southwest. The food they serve is great, as is the staff I interacted with. An EV charger in the same parking area is very helpful, as well. I was surprised that my single room didn't have a TV. The water pressure and heat when trying to shower were never consistent (but usually okay). While not a comment about this hotel, know that this area doesn't have much for stuff to do. "Owl Barn was just beautiful - we loved the fact that the sheep wandered past the garden fence and the horses came close to be petted ! "Lucky we decided not to take dog with us as the garden wasn’t safe & secure as fence was broken on site parking is not on site it’s first come first served no smoke or carbon monoxide detectors a lot of cobwebs a strong smell of dog floor in master bedroom very bouncy floor when walking over also bed mattress very hard & lumpy the switch for bedside lamps hard to access to switch on off & can’t see on advert it’s a upside down house "
