It was a wonderful stay, and we thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. It was beautifully furnished and decorated, and perfectly situated near the ocean with a small town nearby. The only thing I want to mention is that I wish we could drop off our bags before check-in, but I understand the situation. Also, public transportation was a bit inconsistent, but that's not the hotel's fault—just something for travelers without a car to be aware of!
Beautiful room and lovely stay in what was a stormy weekend! Not many places to eat within walking distance at that time of the year, the food in the hotel was lovely and they are very dog friendly in the coffee lounge.
Just wonderful. Such a welcoming hotel.
Food delicious. Staff could not be more lovely, particularly Stuart. Accommodation way above what I expected. Very comfortable beds.

Disliked: Staff & service, room comfort
Only 3 dog friendly rooms. Make double extra sure.
We have not been able to stay. Despite putting details that we have two dogs in our booking, which was made nearly a month in advance, and the hotel messaging that they looked forward to our arrival, when we came to check in, they had no dog friendly rooms for us and we were sent away.
This was a lovely stay had a really if spacious room with everything you could need for a few days stay view from room 8 lovely its quite oldy worldy but has so much character, bed big and spacious loads of storage space for 2. Had breakfast which was grand only thing was the getting up and down 4 to 5 times to keep topping up the tea food which are quite small, it would be a better idea to have little teapots that you could fill at the start of your breakfast instead of teabag in a small cup and having to continually top up with the hot water pump flask, this is my only gripe over our 2 nights stay. All staff were very welcoming and friendly.
I have a minimum 4 star requirement so i was a bit skeptical but the reviews were all so good and so accurate...staff was incredibly friendly, giant rooms, dog friendly and great food for both dinner and breakfast. Location is fantastic and the garden and terrace were so lovely. Rainy day? No problem, the library lounge is lovely for a drink.
Never realised that Beach House Hotel had cottages which is where we stayed with our dog for one night. The cottage itself was very comfortable having two big tv screens on the wall one in the living room and one in the bedroom. A very large en-suite and all mod cons.
All staff were very polite and a good breakfast in the morning. The hotel had a wonderful garden leading out to a great sea view.

This was our second visit to this hotel and the first time seemed more pleasant than the second. The property is old and feels a bit unorganized…from the staff serviceability to the miscellaneous bits and pieces of items randomly placed. Maybe thats apart of the charm.
The property had little or no WiFi which in these days, needs to be confessed to. Apart from that, it’s a truly beautiful, unique place to stay and the views of the Needles is phenomenal
Hotel is a fabulous property and has a felling from another era. Staff are helpful and friendly and service was great. Rooms were clean and everywhere felt well kept. We only had one issue and that was with the bed mattress as it was a wire sprung mattress and felt very uncomfortable to us as we prefer modern hybrid mattresses. This would not stop us from staying here again as everything else was great.
We daughter and I stayed for our joint birthday.
Before we came I spoke to a lovely young lady called Ellen. She went above and beyond to help me surprise my daughter.
Even called me to talk through a few things.
When we arrived, lovely Stuart greeted us ☺️
Very chilled, happy and approachable. We stayed in the cottage and is was spotless and well furnished. The bed was so comfortable….and I’m fussy with beds 😂
It’s also very dog friendly. We will definitely be back ❤️

Disliked: Staff & service
Our room was lovely. The staff dress in t-shirt and jeans even in the evenings. Food expensive and overrated- the salad served with the sirloin steak was a pile of watercress and a bit of shallot. The waiter leaned across me to serve my partner. We wanted a breakdown of our food and drink charges and it’s not been received yet. Service charge added to your bill but they don’t give you a copy on check out, they say they will email it but don’t.
