Lovely countryside pub. Great food and good sevice from the hard working staff. Sat out on patio for drinks in the sun. Our room had a beautiful view down the valley. Very quiet at night.

Fantastic place to stay!!! Dog friendly and kid friendly pub. Games room kept our 9 year old entertained. Traditional pub with great food!!! Breakfast was outstanding. Lovely old, quaint inn in beautiful countryside. Water pressure was low, but the hot water when it came was scalding hot. The food was good but would have liked more seafood choices.. Delicious steak and ale pie, and blackberry meringue dessert. Breakfast had good options for a hot meal or cold buffet.

Blue Boar Bliss

Our stay at the Blue Boar was very comfortable and welcoming particularly as we had a dog.We had a lovely sized room with very comfortable beds and beautiful white crisp cotton bedding. The bath was large with piping hot water- lovely to relax in after a days walking. The food was exceptionally good in the evening and the breakfast was plentiful with a good variety of cooked options. We are definitely going to return when we are in the area again.

Little gem

Perfect little Inn for a getaway, rooms were adequate and newly fitted bathroom spotless. All staff were so friendly and accommodating. Ultra dog friendly establishment.
