"This was ideal for me. I loved it here. It was really peaceful. I couldn't hear a thing apart from the birds and the occasional sheep. I stayed for 4 days and I wished it could have been longer. There is no TV in the hut which also suits me to the ground. The wi-fi is excellent so if you do want to watch something on an I pad or tablet you will have no problem with the reception. "Hotel is nice, we were disappointed after requesting a double room on a lower floor we were given a twin room on the top floor! Not the best for an anniversary celebration. The room itself was nice but the dressing table area was too high to sit at to do hair/makeup . Had a nice restaurant and pub attached and the breakfast was excellent as was the meal in the attached pub."

Park your car up at the property and don’t drive the rest of the time. Walk down to village for great restaurants and shops (and up again to return…yes it’s a steep hill, but a lovely walk). Valley of Rocks/coastal path is 15 min walk. Walk down to Lynmouth, take cliff railway back up. This was our favorite stay on our trip through Devon and Cornwall."
