"Such a lovely hotel located right on the beach, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to be slightly outside of Hiriketiya. Due to its location it is very quiet and peaceful. There are sun loungers on the beach as well as by the pool. It is super easy to get into the main town by tuktuk or a 30 minute walk. The staff are lovely and so attentive if you need a bite to eat I would recommend their pizza which are delicious. We loved our stay here and would 100% come back! "

"I left my heart in Talalla Retreat. Incredible staff who were so welcoming and hard working, the Retreat itself is stunning. I had an upstairs bedroom so was able to fully enjoy the surroundings. "Such a lovely hotel, situated on a quiet, beautiful beach. All staff here and at the sister hotel a short walk away were amazing, with a special mention to Rosin and Nedmina (sorry I couldn’t quite remember your full name!) We loved being able to swim in the sea just outside and walking along the beach. A great, comfortable base for exploring the South Coast. Lovely food too-eating on the beach was a real treat!"

"The most beautiful hotel we stayed in during our 2 week trip in Sri Lanka. The pool is great, but the beach is just to die for. Miles of empty beach in both directions from the hotel. We did however notice quite a few plots being developed nearby, so this might not continue. Staff were all great and helpful. The food was amazing.
