"We stayed in a double room off the courtyard and it was lovely. Especially Loved the duo of local music in the bar area with Carmel Dempsey who has such a beautiful voice. Staff were very accommodating and drove us down to the Ashford Castle for a peek. Breakfast was delicious. In Cong took 'The Quiet Man' movie tour which is not to be missed! Ate dinner in Pat Cohan's bar which is featured in the John Wayne movie."

"Beautiful hotel with very comfortable room, excellent restaurant, fully equipped with gym, pool, tennis courts etc. Quiet location only a few minutes from the busy Galway suburbs. We had a wonderful stay and would certainly choose it again."

The room was very comfortable, and the location is in a rural location that is nonetheless easy to get to and from for nearby driving excursions. The Aughnanure Castle is only five minutes away. The breakfast was generous and delicious. Highly recommend. "
