"This hotel may not have all the latest modern conveniences, but it more than makes up for it with its warmth, charm, and exceptional hospitality. The staff are genuinely welcoming, and the hotel’s unique character creates an inviting atmosphere. The building itself has a unique personality, and an inviting atmosphere that simply can’t be replicated in a newer property. Every space feels thoughtfully curated and full of history. If you value authentic experiences, and personal service, over modern amenities, this is a wonderful place to stay. I’ll be a repeat customer."
"The lodging in Decorah is limited and the Quality Inn is a solid, affordable option. This is a good quality, basic, budget hotel. The rooms have been updated and well maintained. The bed was comfortable. The shower was hot with good water pressure. Rooms include a refrigerator and microwave for saving and reheating your leftover Mabe’s Pizza. The indoor pool was small but clean. The A/C was loud but consistent white noise instead of the common issue of continuously turning on and off all night. The staff was very friendly and professional. We would stay again."
"We had a great experience staying at The Wen. It's a cool property that is fun to explore and roomy enough so there are many different spots to hang out. We loved the large, covered front porch.
Located right next to the Root River bike trail so no issues with getting out for a ride.
The owner was very thoughtful and took great care of us while we were staying. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a quiet getaway that still has access to everything you want in the area. Make sure to go check out the International Owl Center in Houston, MN!"
"The room was large and very clean. The beds were really comfortable. The gardens on the property were lovely and we enjoyed coffee on the back patio and a stroll along the walking paths."
