"Best thing about staying here are the views of the ocean. Absolutely worth staying here for the views alone (especially if you have a 2nd floor balcony). We also enjoyed the hot tub jacuzzi that’s in the room—we went to one of the gift shops in Mendocino, bought some bath salts, and really took every opportunity to use the tub. The only reason why I’m not giving my experience the full five stars is because the bed itself was a little too firm for me. For those of you who need a bit more softness in your mattress, you may want to reconsider the room, or maybe bring a something to help cushion the bed a bit more. With that being said, we did enjoy having the balcony door open (which comes with a screen) and listening to the ocean as we slept."

"I think our room was exceptional because it was one of the five rooms with patios overlooking the bay… when I say overlooking, I mean the posts for the private patio were in the bottom of the bay.
