"Beautiful huts and well maintained lodge. Lunch buffet cost 1500 shilling and was not worth that amount at all! (Same for the dinner buffet that was even more expenzive) If you have booked the night game drive and dont have a car, be aware that they might not have any car ready for taking you on the game drive. One star if you go there with no kids - its like a kindergarten, very very kids-noicy! 3 stars if you go there with kids, hende dont care about the noice."

"Spacious, well maintained rooms with excellent amenities. Since this was our first time in Africa, we greatly appreciated the complementary pickup from the airport. We stopped here for a day and a half before embarking on a Safari tour to multiple national parks. There is an in-house restaurant that was hosting a karaoke night the night we checked in - which was a lot of fun. There is also a mall right next door that has other (less expensive) dining options as well as banks where you could convert US dollars to KES."

"Very well maintained hotel with excellent rooms. The staff was also very accommodating to our request for a late checkout, and helped with weighing out our pieces of luggage to ensure we did not go over our airline weight limits. One point to be noted: the shuttle to the airport was not complementary, Charges were USD 15 per person."

"Great hotel for an overnight stay in Nairobi. Sadly the pool wasn’t open while we were there and that was one of the reasons we chose it. There was a mix up of rooms and it was sorted quickly without fuss. Food was good and service in restaurants great. My only quibble is when we asked for a breakfast box at reception (as we were leaving early the next morning) we were told to speak to the chef at the restaurant. We did, we asked for sandwiches. Next morning nothing was there. When we asked they said we could ask the chef again. When we did, we were told that we had to pay to have a breakfast box…. Lots of miscommunication and we ended up just making our own sandwich from the buffet (it was open at 5.45). Overall we would stay here again."

"The Fairview was just what we needed for our time in Nairobi, lovely and peaceful and right in the heart of the city. The staff were also extremely helpful and organised all our luggage whilst we went up country and again on our transfers. Thank you!"

"I arrived using a walker and the reception staff was very accommodating and came to me, sitting in the chair rather than standing counter. Throughout my stay They were very responsive. They checked in to see how I was doing when I informed them that I was not feeling well. They always had a smile on their face and went above and beyond."
