the hotel was comfortable and clean. Front desk service helpfull and pleasant. I was in the 6am MachuPicchu entrance group and the hotel had breakfast ready at 5am!
One thing to note: the address provided by Hotels.com was easy to locate but... when I arrived there was a construction going on. I asked a gentleman there and pointed me out to a different address. They are undergoing a renovation and are operating somewhere else. No big deal, actually it is a better location, right in front of the river! It could’ve been helpful an email prior to arrival informing of new temporary address. Otherwise I’m very happy with Intiquilla Machu Picchu Hotel

Get what you paid for.
Hotel is not located in the area booked. They moved and did not inform us. Took time to find it because of that. Would not allow late check out even if you paid. We had 2 rooms. One room with the window was good but the other room had no window and smelled really bad. Breakfast was okay, not fulfilling like other Peru locations. Overall location was really good. Close to markets and the train station.
Hard to find, but I think that’s probably the case with anything in Aguas Calientes. The girl that checked us in was very helpful and kind. Really a great place for the price, I highly recommend!
Located close to the train station and market on the east side, this was the perfect place to stay in Aguas Calientes. We arrived in the morning, but the receptionist let us put our stuff in a room. When we returned after Machu Picchu, we asked to switch to a smaller room (we were a couple and didn’t need three beds). No problem! The place was very quiet, which was great for a nice sleep. The shower had hot water too. We liked the top floor room, which was near the breakfast area. The food was ample and good. It’s all we wanted in a hotel in AC. And they preferred credit card payment, which was great (especially as there was no extra fee). Check out is a bit early at 9 but wasn’t an issue for us. Loved it!

Mediocre accommodations
Met our needs for visiting Machu Picchu. Front staff ver quick to respond to issues (e.g., hot water, WiFi).
When we got to the hotel at night they couldn't find our reservations, the ladies working there were total lost and it took almost 40 minutes for the owner to show up. He found the reservations and did not have roons available so he took us to a better hotel for the same price. It was stressful and we were exhausted
Three beds were cramped into a small room. One of the beds partially blocked the entrance to the bathroom. The bathroom had no fan and no hot water was available for showers. Other that the main person in charge the rest of the staff was not professional.
