Could use a bit of updating but generally clean and well-maintained. The location, just across the street from a lighthouse and marvelous view of the Mackinac Bridge, was superb -- I would recommend booking the lakeside rooms that had patios for viewing. Instead of offering breakfast (beyond coffee and granola bars), we were given BOGO coupons for nearby breakfast restaurants, but the online reviews for these noted that the BOGO choices were limited, overpriced, and not very good -- drive around the corner and go to Audie's Restaurant instead.

Parking was always pretty full but they were very accommodating and allowed us to park in the grass. The whole place was very clean including the room and pool and the staff was very friendly kind and helpful. Would highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back.

Check in reception was super welcoming and friendly. Stayed in 115 which was a little noisy and our floor needed to be vacuumed. Bed was comfy and they have decent tv. Great location. Website says breakfast but nothing was there. Family over and under the bridge so we will be back 👍

Room was decent with enough room for my family of five. Pool cloaed at 10, which seemed a little early for a weekend. My biggest issue was with the lack of parking for guests. Great view of the Mackinaw Bridge is a bonus.

The room was overall clean. The pool and hot tub were pretty clean, the second time we used it they had just treated it with chlorine without notice so it was irritating to sit there. There was confusion with the front desk when we went to purchase tickets for the fort, they told us they didn't sell them, but we were given discounted price sheet when we checked in. It was in a great location, close to downtown. It was a decent place to stay on a budge, probably would stay again.

A very mediocre hotel. Outside doors where not key-operated, but always 'open' with just a pull 24/7 ... leaving inside stairs and elevator open to the general public. Ceiling fan running extremely slowly could not be turned higher or off due to the malfunctioning wall switch. One light over the nightstand flickered, so we just didn't use that light. Breakfast was hot tea or hot chocolate and a Betty Crocker oatmeal/raisin cookie. The bed was clean and the mattress good, so we slept well.

When we checked in. They told us coffee, tea and hot chocolate 24 hours a day at the kitchen area. When we went to get some we were told Desk clerk said no 7 am only. Breakfast was a granola bar. Spa only had 1 jet working. Outside doors no locks on them. Rooms clean and comfortable. Ice machine on the floor was broken. Smile detector in hall way hanging by the wires. Told clerk she said ok. They will get it fixed. 4 days later still not fixed. Mini fridge in room. Microwave in common area by from desk.

The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. It had an unpleasant smell, appeared unclean, and there was no ventilation. The bathroom felt quite old and wasn’t as clean as we would have expected. We also found a large stain on the duvet cover, which was off-putting. Overall, it was manageable for a one-night stay, but the cleanliness and condition of the room could definitely be improved.
