"Upon check-in the agent was very welcoming and provided great suggestions for places to eat. It was Explained to us there was no pool but we were provided pool passes to their local rec facility. We required an extra pillow and the front agent had it to us in no time.
This hotel offers mini kitchenettes in ALL their rooms: fridge, freezer, microwave, stove top. This was ideal for us as we were able to prepare some of our meals. The hotel offers a breakfast which was a bonus feature we didn’t expect. The other added bonus was not having to pay for parking.
This is the first hotel we’ve been in in a long time where the Wi-Fi was very dependable.
We stayed in a queen room, and it was the perfect size with a generous size television. What I really enjoyed about the room was how nice and dark it got when you turn the lights out. Most hotels today have illuminating features on wall, chargers, thermostats, Clock, radios, etc. which makes it really distracting when you are someone who likes a really dark room.
Upon checkout, we were treated extremely well by the front staff and management both who were able to care for our specific needs. Management were very empathetic and most hospitable. We were made to feel very welcomed and cared for. "
"We had no reservation although we had made one through hotels.com but were still able to get a room. Check-in was at a gas station nearby. Very small room but clean. A horrendous storm came through minutes after we got to the room, knocking power out for several hours . No restaurant open in this small town but the gas station, hotel owner let us get some food and we can pay in the morning. Very kind. "
