"The rooms had dirty linen, the pillows smelled like sweat. Housekeeping woke us up at 8 in the morning wanting to know if we were checking out that day or staying for a longer stay."
"We love the spa that was about 12+ ft long spa. There's a big pool. There's a lake with carp
. They made omelets to order lots of other breakfast foods.
quiet. Renovated or new buildings"
"The pix are nicer than the place actually is. Mr patel was plesant but it dont seem as if there adequate staffing for everything. I think its a one man show and he works very hard. That said this is probably one of the more run down comfort inns ive stayed in. Our ac cut out the first night we stayed but was fine the rest of the time. However even the lobby was warm.
I was a little skeptical about our stay but it was fine. There is a homeless camp just outside the parking lot. I didnt see any signs of bedbugs. And our shower was broken. And the pool and spa was closed"
"A beautiful stay at this unique & historic resort! The rooms are very spacious & clean, and we loved the western decor. It was so nice to have the covered patio & sit outside in the evening. It wasn't a view room, and the patio faced the parking area, which normally we wouldn't want to do, but it was quiet and shady under the beautiful trees. We enjoyed a massage at the spa & golf was a nice change from the desert courses in Tucson. Dinner at The Stables was delicious. Sunday is 50% off wine so we enjoyed a nice bottle of wine with the perfectly cooked steak & salmon.
All the staff were so friendly and helpful.
The only downside to our stay was that it was a busy holiday weekend & the pool area was completely full. We arrived before check-in & planned to spend time by the pool before our room was ready, but swim towels are provided in the room, not by the pool. Since there were no chairs available & no towels at the pool, we were unable to enjoy that area during our visit. We'll keep this in mind next time we stay. We only stayed 1 night but will definitely be back!"
"The staff were so hospitable. The cabin was clean and large enough for a family of 3 with everything we needed to make it feel like home. The horses, view and location was the perfect getaway from civilization to slow down."
