All around great experience. Staff are very friendly, welcoming and responsive. Best quality and variety of food I've had on a resort. Great snorkeling with coral all around the island that you can explore right off the villas or beaches

This trip was a dream come true. From the staff to the island, it was perfect. Our room was spotless and upkept 2 sometimes 3 times daily. We were absolutely spoiled. Small, quiet and peaceful island with amazing views. Would recommend to everyone.

We had an excellent stay at Varu! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel at home. The staff was incredible, always going above and beyond to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. Dining options were wonderful, with a great variety of options daily. Bella was a fabulous host, ensuring we were always taken care of. Would love to come visit again.

5 star! Don’t hesitate to book Varu. We had room number 416 over the water bungalow with pool and it was a perfect location. We could snorkel to the beach, grab a drink and snorkel back. The sports center staff was fantastic. We enjoyed our excursions and highly recommend doing the jet ski tour with the manta rays and turtles. The staff went above and beyond. The only con would have to be that we stayed for 10 days and the food got a little repetitive but it was still delicious. Hopefully we get the opportunity to come back some day!

We would like to share our experience for our stay at the varu island… we had a fantastic time! The staff is very friendly and amazing! our villa was cleaned twice daily and the housekeeper Malek that cleaned our room did very well ! We are very pleased with the service! Also it was very quiet and truly relaxing! The weather was just perfect!Overall we are 10/10 satisfied ! Will be returning again!

We had an excellent stay at Varu, the staff were all very helpful and friendly. They went the extra mile to ensure all the guests were well taken care of. The food in particular was absolutely delicious! A wide variety of cuisines, along with themed nights which added to the experience. Daily snorkelling trips was one of the highlights of the holiday - the staff were amazing. Would highly recommend staying here, especially for a special occasion.

I can see why this resort has so many good reviews.. a stunningly beautiful grounds, idyllic ocean, a staff that is often there at ever turn and so helpful, lovely cozy overwater bungalows and very food good. However, it is not a five star resort no matter how hard, and often too hard it tries. Make no mistake for the cost is an an excellent value.. if ur looking for value. If your looking for a true five star plan on spending 2-3 times as much. Here are a few four star reasons- all meals are served and consumed in open air accommodations. So your hot, sweaty, and will adjust as u sit looking at ocean . Even the "al cart($)" are open air.. Great food but would love to be cooler. The staff over does it with attempting to help u at every turn. At every single turn. to a point of, ok i know you know my name and i never met you before, but if like to be a little anonymous and left alone on this middle of nowhere little island. For example, my key would not work, and the maintenance man let me in the phone rang off the hook to new key as i napped on deck. They came by, called and called, and , texted me.. more four star examples. My boat home 2 pm. Was told upon arrival "late check out if available" (standard). But upon my call on last am, a charge of $100 is tackless. Then as i ate lunch at 12:05 i got a text letting me know, the meal plan ends at 12, but allowing me this curtesy.. then a waiver promising "not to post anything bad" or i guess we wil see

Varu by Atmosphere is excellent all round! The whole island has a lovely feel and is kept in immaculate condition. The food on offer in all of the restaurants is of an extremely high quality but the best thing about the resort is the people that work there, as they are extremely pleasant and can't do enough for their guests.

My wife and I had our honeymoon at Varu and it was such an amazing experience and vacation! As soon as you enter from the airport, you are treated with such luxury going on the speed boat going to the resort. The staff were extremely friendly, everyone from the servers to the host! A few standouts for my wife and I was Chamila the bartender, he was super friendly and provided great service. The buffet restaurant server, I believe his name was Shashil was also super friendly. Everyone was great! The restaurants that they had were amazing. Kaage had amazing Maldivian food, Charcoal, had the most tender filet mignon I've ever had, and Nu was amazing Mediterranean food. The standout for my wife and I was Nu, simply delicious and high-end! It was really great that they gave you 3 dinners if you were staying 6-7 days which we had. The activities were solid too, but to be honest we did more relaxing than anything else. The only thing I'd change is the weather, it was wet season so a little more cloudy and windy, but just how it goes. If I were to come again, I would definitely choose a different time of year in dry season. Our water villa was amazing. The sounds of the ocean was so soothing and memorable on the back patio and being able to snorkel in the backyard was great but a little rough. The water and beaches were unforgettable. Crystal clear water and the sand was white, breathtaking. Overall it was amazing, couldn't have picked a better honeymoon destination at Varu!

Great service and hospitality! However, I wish the all inclusive package comes with complimentary motorised water activities, every motorised water activities is excluded and will incur extra charges. Come during period between May to July if you dont like hot and sunny weather.

From the day we landed till the day we left we were welcomed to the utmost. I can say enough about the staff there so nice pleasant and respectful and would go out of their way to make sure we were happy. The island itself was beautiful with plenty to do and not do if you want. Food was amazing and we tried everything couldn’t say anymore how much we loved all the cuisines.

Had a wonderful time at all-inclusive VARU for a good price. As it is all inclusive, alcohol was available for free plus free transfers taking about 40 minutes by speedboat from the airport. The buffet restaurant was very good and diverse each day for all three meals. The coffee was mediocre, and sometimes the cocktails were not well mixed, but the staff were very courteous and accommodating. I am giving four stars on staff and service because of the following: 1) they do not offer buggy service for the guests as they say the island is small, but in reality, it is large enough for the service to be offered. The staff, however, are using buggies, and sometimes they do not slow down as guests are walking. While we tried to hug the side of the road, they were certain times where they almost hit us. I reported this to management at the end, and they said they would take action. 2) there is a bar with pool and beach area which is quite nice to be in with the free drinks and certain types of snacks available from 4 to 6 PM. But the live DJ makes the music too loud to the extent that we could hear it in our room until after 10:30 PM. This may not be an issue for some, but we purposely chose the overwater Villa to hear waves — not bass

Such an exclusive holiday where at times we wondered where the other guests were! Our water villa was just stunning and reduced us to tears when we first arrived. We only left it to go to the restaurants. Otherwise we stayed there all day, dipping into our pool or the ocean. Then each evening, stargazing at the most wonderful night skies. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming, with special mentions of Lelya, Margaret and Hiyadath in Lime & Chili, Nisha in Charcoal, Iju, Amanee and Ankur in Nu and Ita in the Spa. And of course Arusha and Sampath who looked after our room and all our needs during the stay. The Maldives is often described as paradise and now we know why. This was our first visit and we are already now planning our return.
