"Nice place to stay with terrific water views. The room comes with a fridge and microwave. The bed was comfortable, and the shower worked well.
At least when we stayed, check in and breakfast were nearby at the Gran View Inn (sister property), so not the most convenient - and the breakfast wasn't anything terrific, but the location definitely has a nice view and setting, along with all the other aspects we like in a place.
Would we stay here again? Probably, esp if it's cheaper than the two nearby places closer to Ogdensburg. We enjoyed it."
"The Scottish Inn used to be a run-down and poorly-maintained mom-and-pop motel called The Nomad. The current owners have completely overhauled and modernized the establishment. Now the rooms are up-to-date, clean, attractive, well-furnished and comfortable. This is not a high-end-luxury area. However, for travelers looking for an economical place to stay that is close to practical retail and dining establishments, the Scottish in is an excellent choice. A Walmart store is just one minute up the road to the west. A tasty down-home restaurant called Eben’s Hearth is just a couple minutes away in the other direction. Gas stations, additional practical stores and eateries can be found by driving into Potsdam, crossing the bridge on the left and going north toward the retail strip on outer Market Street. Downtown Potsdam is very small and most of the beautiful historic storefronts are empty. This area would be a perfect spot for an arts festival looking for a location. There is a beautiful park next to the river. This is a college town for students from working-class families. If you’re looking for a friendly, practical, no-nonsense place to stay, eat and shop, you should definitely consider staying at the Scottish Inn and exploring the area."
"It was a good place to stay for an overnight. Microwave, refrigerator, coffee in the office. New floors, clean very nice staff/owner. I would definitely stay again.l"
"The updates to the hotel are great. the rooms are above average size which is awesome. I personally love that there are multiple hooks and shelves to hang items. There was a beside table for the second queen bed. It's like the hotel had heard my complaints from over the years and did it all right here. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. My only slight negative is one of the bed sheets were stained and it just kinda grossed me out. but everythign else was amazing."
"What a super staff. Very helpful and friendly take really good care of you. This place is so peaceful and quiet. I stayed an extra day just to rest up. It was great. I stay here again just sitting on the porch watching the boats go by was wonderful."

What’s a holiday rental in Madrid like?
Holiday rentals are private properties where you can stay for a few weeks, or just a few days, in Madrid. Holiday rentals offer extras like WiFi and washers and dryers so you'll have everything you want. If you're concerned about cleanliness, a holiday rental can provide a sense of privacy away from public hotel lifts and bustling concierge desks while still allowing you the enjoyment of travel. You'll also find more space in a holiday rental than in a standard hotel, which is another reason why a holiday rental is a popular choice for family trips or small group gatherings.
