Nice and clean. Doors seem to be a bit thin because we could hear the chatter outside the door. Overall very nice and the people are super friendly. Bring your own cork screw. :)

The room is small , but good enough for our stay. Bathroom is also small but updated . Good daily housekeeping, kept our bed and bathroom clean . Outside noise can be heard in the room. Sometimes people talking and hanging out in the street as late as 2-3 in the morning is very annoying. Their elevator is not working , so our heavy luggage is an inconvenience to carry up using the stairs. But the staffs are very nice and helpful, they speak English and the place is just a few min walk to Madrid Centro. It’s still worth the stay!

The staff is incredibly nice and attentive. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was modern/updated. The area was convenient and near breakfast and dining places as well as pharmacy and supermarkets very close by.

Modern and yet cozy place
It is a very nice place and excellent location. Staff is very friendly and nice. Only thing is you have to go to the 2nd floor with your bags because the elevator does not work. But that is not the hotel . It is the building.

Smart accommodation in Cheuca
Good hotel, great location. My only annoyance was my room was right next to reception, so at times during the day it was a bit noisy with people at reception and also passing my room. A small fridge in the room would also have been a bonus. That aside, I’d stay again though

Nice location but small room.
Our room was more that of a hostel than a hotel but the property was in a convenient location close to shopping, markets, parks, museums and lots of dining options between the Malasana and Retiro districts of Madrid. The room was super small with only luggage space inside a wardrobe next to the bed. We traveled with 2 backpacks but this still denied two people access to getting dressed/accessing luggage simultaneously since only one person at a time could get in the wardrobe when the doors were opened. Only one chair in the room so one person had to sit on the bed when relaxing or planning the days events. Our room (#6) had a single window that opened to a tall shaft-like courtyard which provided virtually no natural light in the room. The neighbors above our room were constantly active between 11pm and 3am moving about and making noise during these hours. Our air conditioner only worked half the time so we had to have our window open for air at night which made resting difficult on those nights. The room was clean with decent private bathroom and the check in service people were very polite and helpful. Staff are only on site during certain hours though (~9am-7pm) and access to the building and room floor is by electronic key. Small refrigerated bottles of water are provided which was nice. If you don't mind the tight quarters of a hostel room this property is in a good location for navigating the central Madrid areas.

Check-in can be an issue
No one was at reception when I arrived and the door was locked.even though it was within the stated hours for reception. The phone number provided in the confirmation email was not answered when I called and it turns out was not correct. It took several hours of me going to a nearby Starbucks and using their Wi-Fi to get it sorted. Otherwise everything was good.

Great value for money
Well positioned establishment, within walking distance to all major attractions. Really friendly and with great attitude owner. He even arranged an UBER taxi to the airport due to normal taxi drivers' strike.

Nice hostal, good location. It was clean and the customer service was good. The only thing missing is to write the name on the door or to put a sign, for someone who doesn’t know Madrid the address might be difficult to find.

En resumen recomendable
La estadia fue muy buena lo unicom que ibamos muy cargados con valijas y no funcionaba el ascensor lo cual es importante ya que estabamos en el segundo piso, la entrada del lugar no es muy prolija pero dentro todo lo que es luego de pasar la puerta de ingreso del primer piso es perfecto cambia totalmente y las recepcionistas muy amables , la maquina de cafe no funcionaba y no tenian cubiertos descartables . La ubicacion excelente

Struttura moderna al centro di Madrid
L'hotel è situato al primo piano di un edificio nel cuore di Chueca, a 5 minuti a piedi dalla Metro Chueca e altrettanti dalla Gran Via. La posizione è ottima come base per poter esplorare la città e il quartiere è famoso per la vita sia di giorno che di notte. La stanza era adeguata, in stile moderno e provvista di frigorifero, bollitore, aria condizionata e cassaforte. Anche il bagno era ampio e funzionale, a meno della porta di vetro della doccia che, non chiudendosi bene, causava la fuoriuscita di acqua ogni volta che veniva utilizzata. Nel complesso, sono stato molto bene e il personale è sempre stato gentilissimo e cordiale, prodigandosi per la risoluzione dei problemi. Non ho dato la quinta stella solo per un problema con l'ascensore che un giorno si è guastato ed è stato fuori servizio fino al termine del soggiorno: ho un ginocchio rotto e l'unico modo per entrare e uscire dalla struttura erano le scale. Un vero peccato perché la struttura, per quanto piccola, meriterebbe molto di più.

Worst experience in Chueca
Avoid this place! Noise from other rooms is so loud you cannot sleep. There is loud music, sex moaning and the location does not offer any support during the night. As a guest, we pay for a place to sleep and if the location does not offer it, then the service has not been met. Terrible location! Avoid at all costs!!!
