"Gopalan has a lovely location with views out over rice fields. The rooms are clean and well-appointed, but there were small gaps between walls and door frames/ windows whicj some might find disconcerting - rustic charm is more accurate. There's a bit of a water shortage in the area at the moment, though I dont think the locals want to mention it but we had to contact reception twice to let them know we had no water.
