The property was freezing cold when we arrived and hadn't been prepared at all. The bedding wasn't clean, there were sheets drying over furniture, the dishwasher was full of pots, pans and crockery and the floors were dirty. The TV didn't work properly either. Worst of all, because no one had bothered to check, there was no oil in tank so we had no heating or hot water for 3.5 days of a 5 day break. Helloguest, the managing company, were absolutely useless and didn't do what any decent company would have done in the situation and offer alternative accommodation and simply left three ladies freezing in a totally unheated house in the coldest weather Northern Ireland has seen for years. We couldn't sleep we were so cold. All three of us piled into one room to try and keep a bit warmer. We'll never be using a property managed by Helloguest again and, based on our experience, would warn others not to do so. They are very keen to take your money up front but don't care what happens to you after that.
