"What a wonderful place to stay. The breakfast was fantastic as we ate there everyday. Great location to get to the rest of the island. I would stay here in the future."
"Hotel overall was very good. Not perfect (it’s not the Ritz Carlton), some blemishes here and there. We were in the Marina Building. Perfect location to beach and pool. My only real complaint would be the staff is incredibly unfriendly. Almost everyone. Every house keeper we walked by seemed miserable, and maybe it’s because they were. We never found that in Cancun, Aruba or Grand Cayman. And it was almost every single employee. I always smiled and said a simple “hello”. Most employees just completely ignored us. A few gave a very grumpy “hi” at best. We’ve been to SXM 4 times before and I don’t remember employees at hotels acting like that. That being said, we would still come back as we liked the hotel/location."
"My experience at The Morgan was exceptional. While there were a few instances where staff professionalism could be enhanced through additional training, senior leadership consistently demonstrated outstanding problem-solving capabilities. The property itself is meticulously maintained, with a strong emphasis on cleanliness evident throughout one's stay. The close proximity to both the airport and Maho Beach, situated off Simpson Bay, was a significant advantage. I believe location is paramount, particularly when considering transportation options if a rental car is not utilized.I highly recommend this property for both vacation accommodations and day pass utilization, and I personally intend to return for both."
Sonesta Maho Beach All Inclusive Resort Casino & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Nice resort. Ten minute drive from the airport. Good beach and swimming pool. Above average food. Miniature golf on site. If you love watching jets takeoff and land, there is no better resort for viewing. Could only be better if the Blue Angles or the Thunderbirds were there."
