The Black Horse Inn

The Black Horse Inn

8/10 Good
"This is a historic inn on a pilgrimโ€™s route. It is not a modern, high rise hotel. Donโ€™t let those expectations diminish your experience here. The rooms are quite large and very clean. The beds are comfortable. There are not a lot of frills and extras here yet that is not what this inn is about. Be aware that the inn is not in town. There is a rather narrow road going to the inn. Good, free parking. The breakfast is basic. The pub area is super cool and historic - not sure how good the food is - we didnโ€™t eat lunch or dinner there. This was a good, reasonably priced stop. Donโ€™t expect a high end hotel."
