Fairly good place, located 3 minutes from train station and walking distance from town centre. Clean, all in good condition, completely quiet despite next to busy road and train tracks. Bed a bit on the soft side, and a coffee maker in the room would be nice. Tip: sign up for their ‘H Rewards’ loyalty programme and you get free public transport ticket from reception.

Love the location and ease of access to the city. The room was very comfortable and functional for working. The dining options were unimpressive in the hotel and held odd hours. But I felt safe and comfortable and had great sleep! Would definitely stay again!

No-frills hotel in a convenient location

The front desk people were amazingly friendly and helpful. The bed was standard European uncomfortable but the AC was good, as was the shower pressure. Very close to the train station and walkable to the sights.

The hotel was only 20 minute walk after our Rhine cruise and easy to find via Google. Friendly helpful staff as we decided to eat in and got delicious cocktails with the buffet. Room was excellent and buffet breakfast to be recommended. Loved the pink grapefruit and bacon! Very close to the train station ( less than 5 mins) made our one night stay

The hotel is within a 5-minute walk of Mainz train station. The hotel is located in the opposite direction to the downtown area, so it is quiet and safe. The hotel facilities are standard in Germany and are fine.

Perfect location for Mainz HBF. A 20min safe walk to the old town. Very helpful friendly staff - thank you. Great to have the option to open the window or use the aircon. One recommend would be to have the option for more pillows on the bed as only one each. Would happily stay again.

Comfortable stay but would have liked toiletries

We stayed for 2 weeks in July 2025 while in Mainz for a business trip. We had a comfortable room and everything was clean. We would have liked shampoo in the room, and other basic toiletries like cotton buds, cotton balls, shower caps, which are usually provided by hotels. Other than that, the bed was comfortable, airconditioning was good, cleaning staff clean when you request for them, but the cleaning was a little inconsistent. For example some days we would get water, some days not, and some days we would get less towels. Not a big issue, just something we noticed. Overall everything was good.

The hotel is clean and conveniently located near the train station. Room service is upon request (not sure if there is a charge). There is no shampoo/conditioner in the room, which is weird. When asked, I was told to use the body wash instead. Seriously?! I also did not appreciate being charged for an early check in. I arrived around 1 pm. I understand when the room is unavailable, but they had the room and still charged me 25 euro.

Very modern, quiet, comfy and handy!

A very handy hotel just opposite the West exit from the main station. Modern building with spacious, comfortable rooms, really quiet even though on a main road. Staff friendly and helpful, if you join their free H+ rewards you get a free public transport ticket for the local area which is handy. I got my free drink for being a Hotels.com status customer at check in. Room was nice with free bottled water, shower a bit weak as it's an eco shower but otherwise I'd recommend highly for the price paid!

Good location, clean but dated

Location was ideal next to the railway station but it was noisy but that was not the hotels fault. The girl on reception was friendly and helpful The hotel rooms themselves weren’t very welcoming. They were dark and dated but very clean. I didn’t like that they changed the towels every day whether we wanted them to or not. Not very green. Our stay was ok!

Will not stay here again. The front desk person when we checked in was exceptional! He was very helpful, outgoing and professional. The lunch we had was poor and tasteless, we did not know why the other staff said, that customers enjoyed it , it was over priced with no flavor and we had to pay extra for coffee. It was a disappointment.

Comfortable, but bare boned

Nice interior ambience and location, but if I had known how bare bones the amenities were I may have reconsidered. No toiletries, just a bottle of catch all soap. The tv also didn't work in the room. And no coffee maker!!
