"Property is starting to show its age and is a little tired, however well maintained. Staff we friendly and service was good. Would suggest some updates to pool area to make it more accessible, did see some elderly guests struggling to get in and out of the pool as there is no hand rail."

"Best we have stayed at in Australia in our manny years of travelling. The Quality of the Building and the amazing interior design styling of the room and building were first class. The facilities were five star and the breakfast as well. A special thank you to Abby who checked us in. Her professional approach to.her job including making us feel.so welcome is a credit to her and the hotel. We will.definately stay again at the Christalbrook Bailey wherever they are. "One was allowed to smoke outside the hotel, but NO Ashtrays provided and i think rather than people dropping buts, why don't they provide Ashtrays and bins."

"The room was very clean and the cleaning staff were amazing. The location is within easy walking distance of the Esplanade and many pubs and eateries. The Cairns Aquarium and Tomb of the Pharaohs exhibition is directly opposite the Ramada. The room and small TV that we were allocated is dated but are being fully renovated in stages. There are some beautiful new rooms already finished. Glenda Lockley June 2026"
